‘Powered by nature’, Goosewinged is an environmentally responsible and nature-inspired clothing company perfect for those desiring to look their best while taking care of the planet around them.
Goosewinged was founded by Jerry Harper, a passionate Bristolian who has used the vibrant, youthful nature of his hometown to inspire every piece that has made its way to Goosewinged.
Being a keen sailor himself with his own boat in the beautiful sailing village of Dartmouth, Jerry has been able to combine the practical requirements of sailing-wear with the creative aesthetics of the city that he loves so much, harmonising two very important aspects of sailing wear to create something fresh and unique to the market.
What is Goosewinged?
When sailing, to be ‘Goosewinged’ is to sail when the wind is behind you, one sail on the left and one on the right just like goose wings, feeling at peace and safe with nature keeping you moving. This is the exact feeling we wish to emulate for those who look to support and wear our clothing, and look forward to sharing with the world.

The mix of the ‘City and Sea’ are perfectly blended throughout the range, and we’re excited to show the next generation of sailors that they can express themselves and look good while doing it no matter where they are, whether out on the water or watching their hobby from afar alongside friends with a warm drink in their hand.
Creative Edge.
We decided that there’s no better way to fix a problem than to take on creating a solution for yourself, and we’re so excited to share the creative edge that our designs bring to the sailing and nautical world, meaning people don’t have to sacrifice their style for their comfort anymore.
Goosewinged is here to make a difference to the way people experience sailing, and the way they feel about themselves when they do. Powered by nature and enthused with luxury, it’s time we make some changes.

The main focus of our company is the ability to share top-quality organic garments to those not only looking to keep warm out on the water, but to look cool back on land too.
Whether you’re out on your boat, enjoying dinner ashore or even hanging out with friends at the club, Goosewinged provides clothes perfectly stylish for all occasions. When searching for clothes that we ourselves wanted to wear, we found that many of the designs already available for purchase the market were outdated and aimed for specific clientele that simply wasn’t inclusive and accessible to the greater public.

It is important to us that our products enthusiastically support industry bodies that are putting in the world to save the planet, something we feel incredibly strongly about as a brand. Goosewinged is consumer centric and collaborative always, forever seeking how best to support those around us and leave the world no worse than when we found it.

We hold great importance in developing mutually beneficial relationships with clothing brands and manufacturers who prioritise ethical production processes and environmentally friendly practices.
We are big advocates of carbon-neutral manufacturing processes, and ultimately aim to be completely carbon-neutral in all aspects of our business processes.
We also work alongside charitable organisations to support and, where necessary, challenge environmental factors. We are often involved in environmental protection activities like beach clean-ups and removing plastic debris from the ocean, and our mission is to lead and grow initiatives like these by partnering with local charities and environmental protection organisations to protect our planet now and in the future.
